Admission to Genesis
Genesis Preparatory School students are comprised of both local and international students with a wide variety of talents and skills. We consider all applicants equally, regardless of race, gender, creed, and national or ethnic origin.
Students are accepted for admission to Genesis Prep based on their academic performance, test scores, teacher recommendations, and personal interviews. Prospective students must show the ability and motivation to succeed in a challenging academic program. Genesis Prep applicants will be required to take placement tests and write a personal essay so that GPS can effectively assess each applicant’s potential for success at Genesis Prep. These exams not only measure academic ability and knowledge, but also predict individual needs. We use these assessment tools, along with transcripts and letters of recommendation, to select courses for incoming students.
The mission of Genesis Preparatory School is to provide an excellent, rigorous academic college preparatory program within a supportive students. Our purpose is to prepare students to live constructive, productive lives within a multicultural and economically diverse society.

In considering financial aid applicants, Genesis Preparatory evaluates a student’s academic skills, motivation to learn, personal interests, talents, and desire to attend our school. In considering all Genesis Prep applicants, GPS gives equal consideration to all regardless of race, gender, creed, and national or ethnic origin and does not discriminate on the basis of any of these in the administration of its educational policies, admissions, scholarships and financial aid programs, and school administration programs.
For financial aid consideration, Genesis Prep students need to apply to the following organizations. If these options are not available or applicable, and financial aid is still a necessity, please contact our Financial Aid office so we can discuss other options.

SSS does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather, SSS provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. All information from SSS is kept confidential. Results are reviewed by the Genesis Preparatory Financial Aid office.
We believe every student deserves the chance to be seen, heard, and taught in an environment of support and love.
